Notes:
Built in 1545 by Sir John Wentworth, a member of Cardinal Wolsey’s household. Remodelled in 18th cent., became home of the Marquis of Buckingham. After French Revolution housed "Louis XVIII" and Marie-Josephe-Louise of Savoy from 1807 to 1809. In 2010 a venue for wedding receptions.
