  		Harpsden, King Island, in 1954 This 1954 photo from the east shows a modest dwelling which was added on to over the years – verandah on North and East sides and extra bedrooms and school room.
  		Harpsden, King Island, in 2006 from north-east. The 2006 photos show new cladding and aluminium windows, and the old palm tree, some remaining pines, and “Cabbage tree” still growing, but the garden gone; the house then rented out by its new owner, and feeling its age.
