- The Will of William Thomson Cautley late of the Moat Bank near Lichfield in the County of Stafford a Captain in the 1st Battalion of Her Majesty's South Staffordshire Regiment who died on or about 2 March 1883 at Cairo in Egypt was proved at the Principal Registry by the Reverend Proby Littler Cautley of Southwold in the County of Suffolk Clerk Vicar of Southwold the Brother one of the Executors. 23 April 1883.
