St Elphin's School for Clergy Daughters, Manchester Rd, Warrington



 


Notes: Founded in 1844, along with a Training School for Elementary School Mistresses, from the accumulated income of the 1697 Charity for the Relief of Widows and Orphans of Clergymen within the Archdeaconry of Chester.
The school was moved to Darley Dale in 1904. It closed in March 2005 under very sad circumstances.
