    • The marriage took place on Saturday at the Church of St. Peter-with-St. Thomas, Vere Street, of Mr. Michael James Farrer, younger son of the late Mr. Arthur Richmond Farrer, and of Mrs. Arthur Farrer, of 40, Brunswick Gardens, Kensington, and Miss Beatrice Sheila Brooke Greville, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brooke Greville, of Brooklyn Cottage, Salfords, Surrey. The Rev. Minos Devine officiated.
      The bride, who was given away by her father, wore her going-away dress of pale lime-green sand crÍpe, with a hip-length coat to match. Her flat sailor hat of brown glazed straw, trimmed with ribbon to match, had a short veil, and she wore a corsage spray of brown and green orchids. Mr. Hugh Farrer was best man.
      There was no reception, but members of the family returned to 40, Brunswick Gardens for a small luncheon party.
