      He died at The Lodge, Winchester, on 16 May 1935: Joseph Tetley of Joseph Tetley and Co.Ltd, London. Dearly beloved husband of Emily Tetley, aged 86. No flowers by request. (American and Ceylon papers please copy). [The Times, 17 May 1935]
      Wills and Bequests: Tetley, Mr Joseph, of Mansell Street, E.1 and of Winchester, chairman of Joseph Tetley and Co. Ltd, tea and general merchants (net personalty 70,789).
