- Berkshire, 582 tons, left London on 02 Oct 1849. Captain John White. She ran aground at Nelson on 01 Feb 1850. Her forward passengers were carried to Wellington by the Woodstock, and those for Otago, six in number, by the schooner Perserverance, arriving 12 Mar 1850. [Passenger arrivals at Port Chalmers, 1848-1851, Ngaio Press website accessed 30 May 2010]
- Berkshire: Barque: 582 tons. Captain: John Whyte. Sailed London 04 Oct 1849; arrived New Plymouth 08 Jan 1850; Nelson 30 Jan 1850; Dunedin 12 Mar 1850. On entering the harbour the vessel ran on to the Arrow Reef, but was floated off the following tide.
