    • The marriage took place at St. Margaret's, Westminster, yesterday of Mr. Jack Russell Carmichael Christopher, R.H.A., son of the late Mr. Cosby Carmichael Christopher and Mrs. Cyril Davis, of 26, Wilton-place, and Miss Barbara de Sélincourt, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfrid de Sélincourt, 2, Upper Brook-street. The Bishop of London [Arthur Winnington-Ingram] officiated.
      The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a soft gown of white silk satin, with a train of the same material, entirely covered with cream Brussels net and lace. The pages were Master Rodney de Sélincourt, Master Christopher Robin Milne, Master Anthony de Sélincourt, Master Brian Whitlock, and Master Robert Cleveland-Stevens, and they wore suits of maize-coloured crêpe de Chine with tulle truffles. The other child attendants, Miss Pamela Whitlock, Miss Elizabeth Hind, and Miss Anne Lockhart, wore Kate Greenaway dresses of maize-coloured net, with wide sashes of gold lamé and winged caps of gold lace. They carried baskets of flame-coloured flowers. The grown-up bridesmaids, Miss Peta Davis and Miss Christine Kitson, wore gowns of maize-coloured net. They carried sheafs of flame-coloured flowers. Mr. J. T. de H. Vaizey. R.H.A., was best man, and a guard of honour was provided by Trumpeters from Woolwich. A reception was held afterwards at the May Fair Hotel, and among those present were:--
