    • Phillip [sic] Charles [sic] Bull (1889-1960) was educated at Harrow School and the Royal College of Science. After serving in the war he joined the chemistry department in 1919. He also ran a chemical consulting company in the Fulham Road together with some other staff members and ex-students. Independently wealthy, he lived in rather grand style on Queen's Gate. He was an excellent photographer and, as a close friend of Wallace Heaton, always had the latest equipment. [Hannah Gay, History of Imperial College London, Imperial College Press, 2007]
