Her forward passengers were carried to Wellington by the Woodstock, and those for Otago, six in number, by the schooner Perserverance, arriving 12 Mar 1850. - Berkshire: Barque: 582 tons. Captain: John Whyte. Sailed London 04 Oct 1849; arrived New Plymouth 08 Jan 1850; Nelson 30 Jan 1850; Dunedin 12 Mar 1850. On entering the harbour the vessel ran on to the Arrow Reef, but was floated off the following tide.
