    • Heathcote Tatham, b. 1889. He served in the Great War; in 1917 was wounded and invalided. [Curtis]
    • Born 1889. He went to Rhodesia to join his uncle and aunt Arthur and Jeannie Strickland. Arthur Strickland was a transport rider and pioneer and lived on N'Odzi (the farm with the sheaves of corn depicted on the old Southern Rhodesia banknote). Heathcote served in the 1st World War, was wounded in France and invalided out of the Army. He lived near Umtali. He was interested in natural resources in general and his archaeological finds and notes were given to the Umtali Museum, his scrap books on Rhodesian History were willed to the National Archives.
