- I give and bequeath to my dear wife Mary Ann the house plate wines and furniture in Cadogan Place also the interest of all my estate and effects real and personal to be applied to the use of herself and children at the death of my wife it is my desire that the property should be equally divided among the children should my wife marry again I desire that the man not benefit in any way by this instrument & it is my wish in case of such event that the whole of my property is then to be equally divided among my children I hereby appoint Executors to this my last will and testament my dear brother Robert Thomas Twiss and my wife Mary Ann Twiss.

George Edward Twiss, of the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea, in the County of Middlesex, a Bachelor, and Mary Ann Tatham, of this Parish, Spinster, a Minor, were married in this Church by Licence by & with the consent of Susanna Tatham, Widow, the natural & lawful Mother, and the Revd Thomas Henry Shepherd, Clerk, two of the Testamentary Guardians appointed to the said Minor in & by the last Will & Testament of Thomas Tatham decd, whilst living the natural & lawful Father of the said Minor, this Sixteenth Day of May in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-one.
