Notes |
- Owned jointly with his 1st cousin Frances Dorothea Simpkinson a half share of Freehold Land at Hill Green, Clavering, Saffron Walden, which was leased by them to Clavering Parish Council for 99 years on 24 Jun 1949 as the Village Cricket Field. Land probably inherited from his aunt Alice Henrietta Tatham.
- Interested in the Tatham family history. His copy of Curtis' book turned up in a house clearance in Sep 2011. It contained many notes and papers, and has been of great value in the compilation of these notes.

Notes |
- The lych gate at the church was erected in 1920 in memory of Francis & Bertha Tatham. A brass memorial inside the church records that "the lych gate entrance to the Churchyard in which they lie was erected by their many friends in order to perpetuate the memory of their saintly lives and devoted ministrations in this parish".
- 5 serv. Apr 1891.
