    • Bequeathed a brooch to her sister-in-law Vivien Thurburn Barry, who gave it to her friend Mary Emilie Adrienne Tatham, a distant relative of her husband (4x cousin, 1x rem). Vivien wanted Mary to have it as Helen was so very devoted to Mary's father, George Edmund Tatham. [15]
    • One of the Misses Tatham used to drive a car & when she went to see an old friend who lived in Aylesbury road she would just stop & leave the car where it was (usually in the middle of the road!) [VB]
      The car was a 1928 Austin 7 'Chummy', registration number KX 1282; still on the road in 2013.

    • The lych gate at the church was erected in 1920 in memory of Francis & Bertha Tatham. A brass memorial inside the church records that "the lych gate entrance to the Churchyard in which they lie was erected by their many friends in order to perpetuate the memory of their saintly lives and devoted ministrations in this parish".
