    • James Alexander Seton of London, of Stockton, and of Adelphi, Middlesex, Rep. of Barnes and of Hailes: He married Elizabeth Sarah Wilmot and had several children; his eldest son, Sir Henry Wilmot Seton, was Judge of the Supreme Court at Calcutta (dsp); his other children founding the Seton-Wilmots who settled in Australia and New Zealand. James Alexander Seton died at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England in 1845. [Curtis]
    • James, the sixth son [of Daniel Seton (1719-1782), of Powder Hall, Edinburgh, and Jean Ramsay Kerr (1720-1766), of Kippilaw, near Melrose Abbey], of Oldford Manor, Hadley, Herts, born 1757, ob. 1836 at Hadley and there buried. He married, 4th July, 1782, Sarah Elizabeth (1760-1803), only daughter of Henry Wilmot, of Farnborough Place, Hants, and Bloomsbury Square. [The Family of Christopher and some others]
