    • The death occurred at West Byfleet on Saturday of Dr. Ernest John Tatham at the age of 82. Dr. Tatham, who was educated at Cambridge University and St. Bartholomew's Hospital, graduated M.R.C.S. in 1882 and was also a B.A., B.C., and M.D. of Cambridge. He came to Cheltenham about 56 years ago, and after being successively junior and senior house surgeon at the General Hospital settled down in private practice, living for a time at Hornby House, Cambray, and afterwards at Beaufort House, Montpellier. He was honorary medical officer to the Cotswold Convalescent Home. [Cheltenham Chronicle, 02 Oct 1943]

    • Dr. Ernest John Tatham, M.D., of Redover, Coldharbour-road, West Byfleet, Surrey, late of Cheltenham, who died on Sept. 25 last, left 26,736 13s. 3d., gross, with net personalty 26,506 1s. 8d. (Duty paid 3,517). He left 100 to Ellen Frost, housekeeper, if still in his service; 500 to his niece, Marjorie S. Oldham, 100 to Elizabeth M. Oldham [nephew's wife], and the residue specifically to his children Barbara H. Crump and Henry Tatham, the share of his daughter being held upon trust. Probate has been granted to his son Henry Tatham, of Norfolk Farm House, Pyrford; his son-in-law Geoffrey H. Crump, of Windrush, Steep, Petersfield; and his cousin Cecil F.
